Handyman / Handywoman

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Handyman to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and light renovation tasks for our properties/clients. The Handyman will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are kept in excellent working order, addressing both routine maintenance and unexpected repair needs efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• General Repair & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building structures, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., doors, windows, locks, furniture, plumbing fixtures).
• Minor Electrical & Plumbing: Address basic plumbing issues (e.g., unclogging drains, replacing faucets, fixing leaks) and minor electrical repairs (e.g., replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets).
• Carpentry & Construction: Complete basic carpentry tasks such as framing, installing shelving, assembling furniture, and repairing cabinets or trim.
• Painting & Patching: Perform interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, spackling, and filling crevices.
• Facility Upkeep: Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and promptly address maintenance needs.
• HVAC Support: Assist HVAC technicians or perform minor preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Tool Management: Maintain, clean, and organize tools, equipment, and supply inventory.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and regulations, using appropriate protective equipment.
• Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients, tenants, or supervisors to understand the scope of work and provide status updates.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a Handyman, Maintenance Worker, or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using a wide variety of hand and power tools safely.
• Solid foundational knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and work instructions.
• Physical Stamina: Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy objects (e.g., up to 50 lbs).
• Personal Attributes:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Other: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel between job sites is required).

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From Php800.00 per day
