We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team and support our growing operations.

Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene and assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and other essential tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
  • Wash, dry, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and workstations.
  • Handle proper segregation and disposal of garbage.
  • Monitor and refill cleaning supplies, ensuring stock is always available.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
  • Report damaged or malfunctioning kitchen tools and equipment to supervisors.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or management team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
