Job Summary:

The Administrative Specialist provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of office functions while assisting in basic legal and compliance-related tasks. With a background in Political Science and paralegal experience, the role bridges administrative efficiency with legal support, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and coordination within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, documentation, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and organization of legal documents, contracts, and compliance records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on administrative and legal matters.
  • Maintain and update databases, records, and case files in an accurate and organized manner.
  • Support in research related to legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • Draft simple reports, memos, and summaries for management review.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and information.
  • Provide logistical and clerical support during meetings, hearings, or other legal proceedings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Legal Management, or related field.
  • With experience as a paralegal or in legal/administrative support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and document management tools.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
