Port Coordinator

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transportation logistics, with a focus on linehaul operations in ports
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems or any data dashboards.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal teams, truckers, and drivers.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain schedules for linehaul operations, including assigning routes and vehicles based on factors such as delivery lead time, vehicle capacity/ truck productivity, and driver availability.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and other personnel to ensure smooth execution of scheduled routes and address any issues or delays that arise.
• Monitor and analyze route performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments, such as regional center, last mile, Midmile to provide updates on schedule changes, delays, or other relevant information.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to improve the effectiveness of linehaul scheduling processes.
• Monitor pre-booking linehaul requirements for assigned ports to Hub, RTS, and intra VisMin requirements.
• Ensure updates on the status of shipments upon transporting until they reach every Hub.
• Conduct regular performance reviews per trucker to ensure adherence to company standards and efficiency in operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php35,000.00 per month
