The Corporate Planning Intern will support the organization's strategic initiatives by assisting in the review, analysis, and improvement of internal workflows and policies. This role is ideal for students who want hands-on experience in organizational development, process improvement, and business planning. The intern will work closely with the Corporate Planning team to ensure that processes across departments are efficient, aligned, and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct workflow reviews to evaluate existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
  • Support policy reviews and updates, ensuring alignment with current company practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and workflow diagrams.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze data relevant to strategic planning and internal process audits.
  • Participate in meetings with various business units to understand operational requirements and validate process changes.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and planning materials for management use.
  • Support ongoing corporate planning projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering (3rd or 4th year preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with flowcharting tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or with a team.
  • Interest in corporate planning, process improvement, and organizational development.
