About the role

As Head Chef at Thai Mango by Chef Kim', you will lead the culinary team in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations at our restaurant located in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement innovative menu items that showcase authentic Thai cuisine
  2. Manage and train the kitchen staff to uphold consistent food preparation and presentation standards
  3. Oversee food ordering, inventory management and cost control to maximise profitability
  4. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
  5. Collaborate with the management team to enhance overall restaurant operations
  6. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture in the kitchen

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a reputable Thai restaurant
  2. Thorough understanding of authentic Thai cooking techniques and flavour profiles
  3. Proven track record of developing creative and appealing menu items
  4. Excellent leadership and people management skills
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  6. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  7. Proficient in both English and Filipino
