As an Application Support - SAP HCM Consultant you are the expert for our HR applications and support our 1st level support team with your expert knowledge. You act as consultant when it comes to implementation of change requests and projects. Furthermore you support during cloud release cycles and track issues until a solution has been found. When it comes to projects you can also take the lead to ensure successful implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Customizing of HRIS systems/ cloud solutions Haufe Umantis Cloud  and SABA eLearning Cloud
  • Customizing of SAP HR for global setup with major focus on SAP (PA, OM)
  • Implementation of system related change request and development of interface of existing cloud solutions
  • 3rd level support and bug fixing
  • Manage connection between processes and system impact
  • Continuous development of global processes
  • Specification for SAP development
  • Project management of IT projects in HR area
  • Coordination with business owner/manager; application consultants and/or external resource(s) such as external support

Job Skills and Requirements

  • Relevant experience (min 4+ years) in IT HR area as HCM / HRIS Consultant
  • Experience in customizing of other HR systems (e.g. Haufe Umantis) or Cloud applications (e.g. SABA)  would be a plus
  • Experience in SAP HCM (Personal Admin, OrgManagement); other modules would be a benefit
  • Management of connections and interfaces between SAP HCM and connected systems
  • Be able to work independently on tasks coming in and search for solutions
  • Proactive: take responsibility and raise point where action might be needed and make suggestions for possible improvements
  • Problem-Solving: needs to be able to solve problems as they arise and act as consultant with business functions
  • Sense of urgency: needs to process each request as soon as possible and knows how to determine priority of each request.
