Job Description: Part-Time Google Ads Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Google Ads Specialist to help us set up and manage paid ad campaigns. This role is part-time/contract and is great for someone who enjoys digging into data, optimizing campaigns, and driving results.

What you'll do:

  • Set up and launch Google Ads campaigns (starting with Search).
  • Monitor campaigns daily and make adjustments to targeting, bidding, and keywords.
  • Share weekly reports on spend, clicks, CTR, CPC, conversions, and cost per lead, plus any recommendations.
  • Make improvements like adding negative keywords and testing ad variations.
  • Ensure conversion tracking is properly set up in GA4 and Google Ads.
  • Work closely with the strategy lead for alignment and next steps.

What we're looking for:

  • Solid experience running and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Comfortable with GA4, conversion tracking, and campaign reporting.
  • Analytical mindset—you like turning data into actionable steps.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive with suggestions.

Success looks like:

  • Conversion tracking fully working in GA4 and Google Ads.
  • Negative keyword lists built and at least 2+ ad variations tested.
  • A clear cost-per-lead (CPL) benchmark established that could build on.
