Highway Engineer

Star Infrastructure Development Corporation, a subsidiary of San Miguel Holdings Corp., is currently in need of a Highway Engineer:

Job Description:

• Monitor and coordinate the document submission from the Design Consultant.
• Reviewed and evaluated detailed highway engineering designs for various projects to ensure conformance to technical specifications, regulations, and design standards.
• Coordination with the Design Consultant to confer at any time to discuss matters related to the design.
• Coordinate with the Independent Consultant to secure the certification of the Detailed Engineering Design/Final Engineering Design.
• Report any design-related issues to the Head of Technical.
• Prepare conceptual highway/expressway designs.
• Assist in project implementation to ensure that construction works conform to the approved DED/FED.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a licensed Civil Engineer with over 2 years of experience in the design of roads, expressways, viaducts, and bridges.
• Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and GIS.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with local and national building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
