As an MPF (Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection) Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of MPF works at our vertical development project site. The ideal candidate will possess strong coordination skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various disciplines and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate with structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines to ensure seamless integration and supervision of MPF works on site, adhering to approved plans and specifications.
  • Review and evaluate Construction plans, approved specifications, Requests for Approval (RFA), and Requests for Clarification (RFC) related to MPF works.
  • Liaise with MPF consultants to address clarification or queries promptly, ensuring smooth progress of the project.
  • Collaborate with the General Contractor's MPF Manager/Supervisor to align efforts and maintain project timelines and quality standards.
  • Supervise the implementation of MPF works on site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, resolving any issues or challenges related to MPF works promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and safety are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to MPF activities, including progress reports, approvals, and correspondence.

How You'll Succeed

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer
  • Proven experience in coordinating MPF works in construction projects, with a focus on high-rise vertical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, plumbing/sanitary, and fire protection systems, including relevant codes and standards.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
