JOB PURPOSE

The position will directly report to the Store Branch Manager under Store Operations Division. The position also shall be responsible for ensuring business compliance in all the requirements of Health and Safety Standards including the implementation and guidelines. He/She shall lead, establish, manage, monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities and requirements of Health and Safety Standards are adhered to.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Medical Services

  • Assure compliance with the regulatory requirements in industrial setting
  • Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines (Guide and direct all referrals to outside healthcare providers and services)
  • Provide or manage the required physical evaluation programs and services to meet regulatory requirement, such as OSHA
  • Assist with the accident investigation program to identify root cause analysis of all incidents and near misses.
  • Provide appropriate case management.
  • Manage all cases to facilitate productivity, assuring appropriate care and return to work. Includes workers' compensation, short- and long-term disability cases.
  • Assess healthcare needs, then implement and manage healthcare programs to improve health and facilitate return to work, maintain OSHA records/ reports, and worker medical files.
  • Spearheaded safety and wellness program on the branch of assignment

Record Management

  • Coordinates and Implements RCC Medical Benefit Program

· Handles Documentation and maintains confidential medical records for reference.

HR COORDINATION

  • Coordinates the utilization of medical benefits and ensures that required forms both hard and soft copy and other supporting documents are accomplished and submitted.
  • Consolidate documents on annual mayor/health permits.
  • Coordinate with HRS on online referral teleconsultation and laboratory request of regular employees
  • Coordinates internal communication, surveys, meetings, and orientation seminars on HR system with HRS.
  • Oversees the sanitation and service level of the canteen concessionaire.
  • Distributes Insights newsletter in the assigned location.

POLICIES AND GUIDELINES

  • Relays company policies and guidelines on clinic benefits to RCC employees.

REPORTS

  • Processes and submits periodic reports to DOLE and ensures timely delivery.
  • Provide monthly Health Monitoring updates and health checklist to HRS
