The GrabFin Risk team, based in Singapore and focus markets, is building a strong, expert team to seize this exciting opportunity.

Get to Know the Role

The Regional Operational Risk team develops and governs the Operational Risk Management Framework and policies. They oversee its regional implementation and collaborate with country teams to improve technology and risk methodology.

As a Regional Op Risk Senior Associate, you will implement the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Framework and coordinating several ORM activities across Grab Financial's diverse business products. You will report directly to the Manager, Regional Operational Risk, and is onsite at our Exquadra Tower office in Ortigas.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Help implement the Regional ORM framework across our GrabFin markets:

• Review and manage Operational Risk incidents, coordinate and challenge Risk and Control Self-Assessment exercise to further identify any potential risks and strengthen existing controls;
• Assess risk areas and control gaps for any new business initiations; work with the first line of defence to gear up the processes and risk mitigations;
• Support design, enhance and create of regional risk profile reports and dashboards such as Key Risk Indicators or risk heat map;
• Conduct back testing of control effectiveness and efficiencies, uncover insights and identify targeted areas for improvements;
• Work with other functions regionally or in country to deep dive on weak control environments and prioritize automated mitigation needs;
• Contribute to continuous Operational Risk system and tools improvement;
• Promote risk-oriented culture across the organization

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 5 years or more experiences in financial services sector
• In-depth understanding of Op Risk management or audit methodologies specific to Wallet/Payment system/FinTech company
• Proficient in communication and presentation, with a capability for partner management.
• Analytical skills with the ability to analyze amount of information ensuring accuracy and high attention to detail
• Team player with the ability to work independently to manage and deliver projects
