EHS Manager

Location: FPIP, Tanauan, Batangas

Job Overview

The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs across JLL-managed facilities. This role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a safety-first culture, and minimizes environmental impacts while supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs
  • Ensure compliance with local and international environmental and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and environmental audits
  • Manage incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Oversee regulatory permits and licenses related to MEPF and EHS
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for staff and contractors
  • Create and present management reports on EHS performance metrics
  • Establish and monitor vendor performance KPIs related to EHS compliance
  • Collaborate with operations teams to integrate safety protocols into daily activities
  • Stay current with evolving EHS regulations and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field
  • Minimum 12 years of total work experience in Environment, Occupational Health & Safety
  • At least 6 years of managerial experience in EHS within manufacturing and large commercial facilities
  • Safety Officer 3 (SO3) certification, trained and registered with DOLE-OSH
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local and international EHS programs and frameworks
  • Expertise in local regulatory compliance, permits, and licenses (MEPF & EHS)
  • Excellent training communication and management reporting skills
  • Proven experience in vendor performance management and KPI metrics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Requirements
  • Must reside within Tanauan, Batangas or within 1-hour travel distance from the FPIP client site
  • Advanced computer proficiency including MS Office and EHS management software
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations as needed
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
