This is a full-time, WFH position on a U.S. (EST) shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and financial records
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash transactions
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements for multiple clients
  • Perform accrual accounting, cash flow projections, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Handle vendor bills, credit card reconciliations, payroll, 1099s, and sales tax filings
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and help implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client financial initiatives
  • Review and mentor junior staff to ensure quality and adherence to standards
  • Stay current with U.S. accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (non-tax focused role)
  • 5+ years of full-cycle U.S. GAAP accounting experience
  • 2+ years in public accounting or a multi-client/outsourced accounting environment
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online & Desktop and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients independently
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
