Project Accountant

Job Description:

• The Project Accountant is responsible for overseeing accounting functions such as but not limited to billing, collection, payment processing, fund disbursement, payroll, and insurance in the project.
• Ensure tax and compliance functions such as but not limited to business permit processing substantiation and invoicing requirement and withholding taxes.
• Ensure project site compliance to existing accounting & tax policies and procedures.
• Monitor cgs, operating expenses, claims, etc. of the project assigned.
• Remind the Insurance Accountant to renew any expiring insurance.
• Coordinate with AP Processor for any questions on the RFP's.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager for any site accounting issues.
• Responsible and accountable for all types of funds/monies sent to the project site.
• Regularly checks that bank savings/current accounts are maintained and regularly
• Prepares replenishment report requests about expenses/disbursements.
• Immediately advise and coordinate with Accounting and Treasury on the changes of routes during encashment for insurance purposes
• Prepares a list of Unsettled site payables in case of immediate demobilization.
• Review and approve overhead charges to be applied to a project.
• Review account totals related to project assets and expenses.
• Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by immediate TL.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree holder of Business Administration, Accounting or any related course
• With at least 1-3 years minimum years of experience.
• Willing to travel for project site assignment.
