Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dimsum Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing a wide variety of traditional and modern dimsum items such as dumplings, buns, rolls, and other steamed, baked, and fried dishes. You will be responsible for maintaining high food quality, presentation standards, and kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dimsum dishes including but not limited to:
- Steamed dumplings (e.g., har gow, siu mai)
- Steamed buns (e.g., char siu bao)
- Pan-fried and deep-fried items (e.g., turnip cake, spring rolls)
- Rice rolls (cheung fun)
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation according to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and efficient service.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations at all times.
- Innovate and suggest new dim sum menu items in collaboration with the head chef.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Dim Sum Cook or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese dim sum techniques.
- Ability to operate steamers, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
