Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Product Merchandising and Display Management
- Ensure Yakult products are displayed in a visually appealing and accessible manner, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Set up promotional displays and ensure point-of-sale (POS) materials (banners, signage, etc.) are correctly placed.
- Monitor and rotate stock to ensure freshness and product availability, preventing overstock or understock situations.
- Regularly check shelves to maintain a clean and well-stocked display, ensuring Yakult is properly labeled and priced.
Sales Support and Inventory Management
- Work closely with store managers and staff to ensure consistent product availability.
- Conduct regular stock counts and coordinate with the sales team or store management for timely replenishment.
- Analyze sales data, and track stock movement, and recommend strategies to improve product turnover.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages to management promptly.
Customer Engagement and Product Knowledge
- Serve as the point of contact for store staff and consumers for any questions related to Yakult products.
- Provide store personnel with training on the benefits of Yakult and how to effectively promote the product to consumers.
- Engage with customers in-store, offering samples or information on Yakult's health benefits to drive product awareness and sales.
Promotions and Campaign Support
- Assist in executing sales promotions, in-store campaigns, and Yakult-sponsored events.
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that all promotional campaigns are effectively executed and that materials are distributed correctly.
- Monitor the performance of promotions and suggest improvements based on customer feedback and sales data.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis
- Gather information on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to help adjust merchandising strategies and promotions.
- Monitor competitors' product placements, pricing, and promotional activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure that all merchandising activities are in line with company standards and legal regulations.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on merchandising activities, sales performance, and stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with store management, stock counts, and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
College Graduate. A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, retail sales, or a similar role, ideally in the FMCG or food & beverage industry.
- Experience working with grocery chains, supermarkets, or retail outlets is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with store managers and staff.
- Basic understanding of sales and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.
Personal Attributes:
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual merchandising.
- Energetic and proactive in driving sales through effective merchandising.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- Physically fit, able to handle the demands of stocking shelves, and moving products.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php13, Php15,000.00 per month
