  • Identifies and analyzes risks for Motor, Fire, Marine and Other Lines insurance prior to acceptance or rejection.
  • Reviews and evaluates Inward Facultative offer that are subject for survey or inspection.
  • Underwrites and manage accumulation of risk exposure.
  • Stays current with market developments, practices and trends in insurance and reinsurance underwriting profession.
  • Monitors underwriting systems, guidelines and recommends new or revised policies and procedures.
  • Plans and administers the organization's underwriting operations, budgets, strategies and action plans.
  • Arranges and negotiates treaty and XOL facility for Motor, Fire and Other Lines.
  • Negotiates facultative reinsurance for Motor, Fire and Other Lines.
  • Provides trainings and seminars to Company employees and LGC Affiliates.
  • Provides the necessary support to all LGC dealerships in the further promotion of CGIC's insurance business in their respective geographical areas.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any four year course.
  • With at least 8 years of experience as Underwriter under Non Life Insurance.
  • Proficient in the application of underwriting guidelines and policies.
  • Ability to present oral material, & communicate in writing, in a fluent and logical manner.
  • Underwriting license is an advantage.
  • Willing to be assigned in San Fernando, Pampanga.
