About the role

Filipinas Palmoil Plantations Inc. is seeking an experienced Boiler Attendant to join our team in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur on a contract basis. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company's boiler system, ensuring consistent steam production to support our palm oil production processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Monitoring and maintaining the boiler system, including checking fuel levels, water levels, and steam pressure
  2. Performing routine inspections and maintenance on the boiler and associated equipment
  3. Keeping detailed logs of boiler operations and maintenance activities
  4. Troubleshooting any issues with the boiler system and taking appropriate corrective actions
  5. Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment
  6. Providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Formal training or qualification as a Boiler Attendant, with relevant experience in a similar role
  2. Demonstrated ability to safely operate and maintain industrial boiler systems
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve boiler-related issues
  4. Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  5. Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
