Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Production Supervisor.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

  • Operates and regularly monitors flour milling and packing efficiency, making adjustments if needed, to ensure that the flour milling and packing is within the defined capacity at all times.

  • Supervises all Production Specialists by assigning tasks and regularly monitoring their activities to be guided and manage work orders effectively.

  • Manages reprocessed flour by coordinating with Warehouse and Quality Assurance Team to optimize Silo usage, maximize flour recovery and to hasten flour processing.

  • Manages by-product by coordinating by coordinating with the team to avoid intermixing of product and continuously transferring of Bran and Pollard to avoid stoppage of mills and bypass bagging.

  • Coordinates with Warehouse Team to maximize warehouse space and to ensure availability of pallets and forklifts.

  • Manages cycle count inventory with Accounting Team.

  • Manages spare parts and consumables by monitoring and evaluating status of equipment to maximize operating time.

  • Prepares PRF and monitors the conversion of PRs to PO and target delivery date. Also prepare KPI, updates performance of the personnel and fill up CAR's and encode usages of OPEX on a daily shift.

  • Manages the maintenance of the GMP, HALAL, HACCP, and FSSC certfication.

  • Documents material movement by preparing daily monitoring and operations report per shift by using the data from totalizer and transfer to the system to monitor cost and to easily retrieve data.

  • Updates silo and work in process monitoring board and coordinates with necessary subscribers for cost and time efficiency.

  • Checks wheat standard by coordinating with Quality Assurance to ensure good flour quality.

  • Implements necessary adjustments to maintain high extraction rate and to achieve time and cost efficiency.

  • Manages raw wheat inventory by checking the milling schedule to ensure silo availability.

  • Monitors process equipments to prolong equipment life and to ensure efficient and smooth operation.

What are the Qualifications?

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Electrical), Engineering (Mechanical).

  • Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), is optional but not required.

  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, 1 year of which should be in supervisory capacity.

  • With experience in both milling and packing sections of flour production.

  • Applicants must be willing to work in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City
