All-Around Maintenance Staff

Job Summary:

The All-Around Maintenance Staff is responsible for performing a wide range of repair, upkeep, and support tasks to ensure that facilities, equipment, and grounds are in good working condition. This role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, cleaning, and other general maintenance duties, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and structures.
  • Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
  • Respond promptly to repair requests and address facility issues to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in setting up furniture, fixtures, and equipment for events or office arrangements.
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and cleaning machines safely.
  • Monitor and report any safety hazards, damages, or potential maintenance issues.
  • Follow company safety and operational procedures at all times.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
Work Environment:
  • May involve working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Requires physical activity such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and using hand tools or power equipment.
