Job Title: BIM Detailer – Rebar/Steel Reinforcement

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled BIM Detailer specializing in rebar/steel reinforcement to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed 3D models and shop drawings using Tekla Structures, ensuring full compliance with project requirements, construction standards, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate 3D models of reinforced concrete and steel structures using Tekla Structures.
  • Create detailed rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and fabrication drawings.
  • Interpret structural and architectural plans to model and detail steel reinforcement accurately.
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and resolve clashes.
  • Apply industry standards and codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes, etc.) to detailing and modeling work.
  • Ensure timely delivery of BIM models and drawings aligned with project schedules and milestones.
  • Maintain drawing revision control and documentation processes.
  • Assist in quantity take-offs and reinforcement estimation using the Tekla model.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to model reviews.
  • Identify and communicate any discrepancies or issues encountered during the modeling process.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in BIM modeling and detailing of rebar/steel reinforcement, preferably in structural or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Tekla Structures is a must.
  • Knowledge of relevant reinforcement detailing codes and standards (ACI, BS, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with international projects or clients.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination platforms (e.g., Navisworks).
  • Basic understanding of clash detection and model-based QA/QC processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php70,000.00 per month
