Position Title: Accounting Supervisor

Department: Finance & Accounting

Reports To: Finance Manager / Accounting Manager

Location: CAPITAL HOUSE, BGC MANILA

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday)

Position Summary

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role supervises the accounting team, reviews financial transactions, and supports management in budgeting, audits, and process improvements.

  1. Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Reporting & General Accounting

Supervise daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, GL, and payroll entries in Accounting System (Yonyou).

Review and verify journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly closing submissions.

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (includes recording of monthly depreciation, amortization, and accruals).

Maintain and monitor accounting systems and internal controls.

B. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

Oversee vendor and customer transactions and information to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Review AP/AR aging reports and follow up on long-outstanding items.

Check and approve payment vouchers, expense reimbursements, and billing statements.

C. Compliance & Audit

Ensure adherence to local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.

Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.

  1. Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting.

Experience in general ledger, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., YONYOU, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication, and interpersonal abilities.

High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.

Having the initiatives to report any issues immediately to direct Finance Manager.

Pay: From Php40,000.00 per month
