What You'll Do

• Assess and evaluate potential third-party vendors, analytics tools, and API integrations to enhance detection capabilities through advanced technologies and external data sources.
• Champion a strong user experience by ensuring the platform provides intuitive dashboards, actionable alerts, and efficient navigation for internal compliance teams.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Data Science, and Engineering teams to collect requirements, design features, and support rule-based monitoring and reporting functions.
• Design and implement comprehensive case management workflows for Compliance Officers, incorporating audit trails, escalation mechanisms, and STR/SAR reporting templates.
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the in-house transaction monitoring system, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement aligned with organisational objectives.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (e.g., false positive rates, detection accuracy, resolution speed) to optimise detection rules and improve operational performance.
• Partner closely with the internal stakeholders to prioritise and deliver high-quality platform releases that balance regulatory compliance with business needs and to develop and calibrate detection scenarios, risk-scoring models, and thresholds for identifying suspicious activity.

What You Bring
To excel as Product Compliance Manager – Transaction Monitoring you will bring proven experience managing products in highly regulated sectors such as fintech or crypto. Your background should include hands-on involvement with AML/CFT systems where you contributed directly to their design or implementation. • At least 3 years' experience in product management compliance within fintech, crypto exchanges, banking, or regtech environments, with demonstrated success in delivering transaction monitoring or AML/CFT systems.
• Comfortable conducting data analysis using KPIs to inform decisions on rule refinement and process improvement within transaction monitoring platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex compliance platforms with strong understanding of anti-money laundering regulations and suspicious transaction typologies.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration between technical stakeholders (engineering/data science) and non-technical stakeholders (compliance/risk).
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum Compliance frameworks to manage project delivery timelines efficiently while adapting priorities based on business needs.
• Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis or Elliptic, and understanding cryptocurrency transaction patterns relevant to risk assessment, highly advantageous but not required.
• Knowledge of case management platforms including best practices for alert triage workflows in regulated environments.
• Proficiency in translating detailed compliance requirements into actionable technical specifications suitable for implementation.
• Understanding of on-chain versus off-chain transaction flows specific to crypto exchanges, supporting accurate risk modelling and monitoring strategies.
