Position Qualifications
- Graduate in BS Agriculture major in Animal Science or equivalent/ BS Nursing.
- Work experience Veterinary Assistant/Nurse or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language
- Availability to take evening or weekend shifts in cases of emergency
- Patience and a love for animals
Job responsibilities
- Should be responsible in preparing the patient and surgery room before any surgical procedures (if Vet tech/assistant aren't around or available).
- Responsible in assisting veterinarian in terms of emergency.
- Should be reporting directly to the Veterinarian handling the case - should always forward technical or medical questions of clients to Vets
