Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible to record and document product complains and maintaining product information in the point of system. Specialist assists the supervisor to ensures that the company existing product licenses and certification of quality. Assist in the pharmaceutical warehouse, pharmaceutical logistics activities in dispatching and inventory Act as accredited pollution control officer of DENR.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Directly coordinates with the Generika stores, (Company Owned Stores and/or Franchisee Owned Stores) and prepare all requirements for license-to-operate (LTO) application with FDA

2.Prepares submissions of license variations and renewals to strict deadlines.

3.Develops and writes clear arguments and explanations for new licenses and license renewals.

4.Monitors and sets timelines for renewal and approvals of licenses on all stores (Company Owned Stores and/or Franchisee Owned Stores)

5.Provides a monthly status report of the LTOs that may include renewal, variation and on-going applications.

6.Keeps up to date with FDA and DOH and other local regulations and customer practices.

7.Help and assist the store where the pharmacist is assigned to with regards to their operation.

8.Do patient counseling and suggestive selling to boost their sales.

9.Assist the store in receiving and checking their delivery.

10.Assist in any store activity if they need the assistance of a pharmacist.

11.Submit analysis, observations, and recommendation to stores that were assigned.

12.Assist in customer counseling with regards to potential drug interactions, possible side effects, storage information, and instructions on how to use medications.

13.Provide lectures, presentations, training, and/or orientations to specific community services.

14.Other tasks that may be required by the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


•Registered Licensed Pharmacist


•Experience in regulatory work with government agencies particularly with FDA, DOH, etc.


•At least 6 months to 1 year of working experience in related field


•Knowledge of FDA Drugstore compliance and experience in conducting store audits.


•Experience in conducting training.

B. COMPETENCIES:


•Quality of counseling to customers regarding the proper use of medicines, ability to gain their trust and sympathy by establishing a professional yet friendly and caring relationship with them.


•Management of the store personnel, especially the capacity to motivate them to perform well, enhances their technical knowledge of medicines and their capacity to provide counseling to customers.


•Quality and frequency of recommendations and suggestions to improve store operations in various fields, especially on the following areas:

⮚ Improve list of items to carry (new items to carry, items to remove)


•Preferably can speak Ilocano, or Kapampangan (language)


•Willing to travel and be assigned in North Luzon Area
