Duties and Responsibilities:- Patient Transport
- Drives the ambulance safely and efficiently to transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities.
- Assists medical staff in loading and unloading patients safely.
- Ensures the comfort and safety of patients during transport.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Conducts regular inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the ambulance.
- Ensures the vehicle is equipped with necessary medical supplies and functioning equipment.
- Reports any mechanical issues to the maintenance department immediately.
- Emergency Response
- Responds quickly to emergency calls and follows designated routes to the scene.
- Coordinates with medical staff during patient transport and emergency operations.
- Observes defensive driving and traffic laws at all times.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Maintains trip logs and fuel consumption records.
- Ensures compliance with hospital safety procedures and DOH transport protocols.
- Education: At least High School Graduate or equivalent
- License: Valid Professional Driver's License (Restriction 2 or 3)
- Certification: TESDA NC II in Driving (required)
- Experience: At least 1 year of driving experience; preferably in medical transport or emergency response
- Defensive and safe driving skills
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Physically fit and able to assist in patient handling
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays
