Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, reports, GST and tax returns for management review.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, GST, and other financial accounts.
  • Support your team, providing guidance where necessary and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Qualities/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting and/or suitable accounting experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an accountant in an accounting office.
  • Software proficiency should include Xero and related integrators and of course Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
