Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis & Security Administrator who will manage the full lifecycle of SAP technical operations and system security. This role combines deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration with full responsibility for SAP Security and Authorization management to ensure system stability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Basis Administration

  • Administer and maintain SAP systems across environments (Development, Quality, and Production).
  • Perform system installation, configuration, upgrades, and system copies.
  • Monitor system performance and apply tuning measures to optimize performance.
  • Manage transport management system (TMS), kernel upgrades, support packages, and patches.
  • Coordinate database administration activities (HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server).
  • Ensure reliable system backups, restores, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams on OS, storage, and network-related issues affecting SAP systems.
  • Maintain SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring, alerts, and change control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of SAP Security administration experience (authorization management, SoD, role design).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori environments.
  • Strong understanding of SAP landscape architecture, system copies, and change management.
  • Experience using SAP GRC Access Control and related compliance tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, and problem management).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
