
Emergency Medical Service Transport Officer II

Respond quickly to emergency calls involving accidents, medical incidents, and disasters.
Assess the condition of patients and provide basic emergency medical care such as:
CPR and defibrillation
Bleeding control
Spinal and bone stabilization
Oxygen administration
Assist paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, and law enforcement at the scene.
Monitor and report patient status to higher-level EMS personnel.
Operate emergency vehicles safely and communicate with dispatchers.
Maintain medical equipment, supplies, and readiness of response units.
Document all actions taken during emergency responses accurately.
Follow all local, state, and federal medical protocols and safety guidelines
- Minimum Qualifications: TESDA - NCII Emergencgy Medical Responder Training
Must complete a state-approved EMR training course, which typically includes
Training in basic life support (BLS), CPR, trauma care, patient assessment, and emergency care.
CPR/BLS Certification
Must hold current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification (usually American Heart Association or Red Cross approved).
Driver's license, especially if the role includes operating emergency vehicles.
First Aid Certification (though often covered in the EMR course).
Volunteer experience with fire/rescue, EMS, or healthcare organizations.
