About the role

We are seeking an experienced QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety) Supervisor to join our operations team at Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc. in San Dionisio, Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a QEHS Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance across our construction projects. What you'll be doing

  1. Develop, implement and monitor quality, environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and programs
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential risks or non-conformances
  3. Provide training and guidance to construction teams on QEHS best practices
  4. Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences
  5. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure QEHS considerations are integrated into all aspects of construction activities
  6. Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on QEHS performance
  7. Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a QEHS Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
  2. Thorough knowledge of quality, environmental, health and safety regulations and best practices
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and influence construction teams
  4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and mitigate risks
  5. Excellent organisational and record-keeping abilities
  6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in QEHS management or construction safety
