The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods from designated locations. This role includes loading and unloading deliveries, performing basic vehicle maintenance checks, and ensuring adherence to delivery schedules. The driver must comply with all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure the efficient and secure transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport goods to and from assigned destinations.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and reports.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a commissary or delivery driver (preferably in the food service industry) is an advantage but not required.
  • Familiarity with local delivery routes and areas is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License with Restriction Codes 1, 2, and 3 (CE), and a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items as required.
