Job Summary

As a Material Engineer in our RMC Batching Plant operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of raw materials and finished concrete products. You will oversee material testing, design mix proportioning, and quality control processes to meet industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw materials (cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, and water) used in concrete production.
  • Develop, review, and implement concrete mix designs according to project specifications.
  • Conduct laboratory and field tests to ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
  • Supervise batching operations to ensure accuracy in proportions and consistency in production.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control Engineers, Plant Supervisors, and Operations teams to address material-related concerns.
  • Ensure proper documentation of material certifications, test results, and quality assurance records.
  • Recommend improvements in production processes for efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all material handling and testing activities

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Material Engineer
  • With at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in RMC Batching Plant Operation
  • Willing to work full-time and be assigned in Sta. Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental
