Maintain the accuracy of the fixed asset registry. Setup guidelines for the proper recognition of assets' useful life, depreciation method, etc.
Make sure that all fixed assets purchased will be recorded upon receiving. All necessary documents must be collected.
The Property Officer must be made aware, through proper documentation, of all transfers, whether initial issuance or reassignment, of all fixed assets.
Disposal of fixed assets must be initiated and/or coursed through the Property Officer for proper assessment and documentation.
Perform regular asset inventory.
Timely processing and managing of insurance registration and claims
