About the role

As a Chemical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our scientific research and development efforts in the areas of chemistry and physics. What you'll be doing
- Conducting laboratory experiments and analysis to support the research and development of new products and processes
- Operating and maintaining a variety of scientific equipment and instrumentation
- Collecting, recording, and analysing data to assist in the evaluation of experimental results
- Preparing and processing samples in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Assisting in the documentation and reporting of research findings
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
- Maintaining a safe and organised laboratory environment
What we're looking for
- A minimum of a diploma or certificate in a relevant scientific discipline, such as chemistry or physics
- Proven experience as a Chemical Technician or in a similar laboratory role
- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including experience with data analysis software
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
