Die Maker

Job Summary:

The Die Maker is responsible for creating and assembling wood moulds used in production. This role involves reading blueprints, cutting and shaping wood, and ensuring dies meet specifications for accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood to create accurate dies and moulds.
• Operate woodworking machines and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished dies to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Repair or adjust existing dies as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Experience in die making, woodworking, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of woodworking tools, machines, and measurement techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
