Cashier – Service Staff (Restaurant)
Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and friendly greeting to every customer upon entry.
- Handle all cashiering duties including POS operation, billing, payments, and issuing receipts accurately.
- Manage order-taking for takeout and dine-in, ensuring correct and efficient processing.
- Assist in serving food, beverages, and takeout items when needed.
- Ensure accuracy of cash drawer and daily sales reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, counters, and service stations.
- Support the front-of-house team by helping with guest needs, packing items, and light service tasks.
- Help monitor inventory of packaging, receipts, and cashier supplies.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards and respond promptly to concerns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of cashier or service staff experience in a restaurant, café, or F&B setting.
- Presentable, polite, and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
- Trustworthy and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and order-taking procedures.
- Shows initiative, focus, and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Versatile and able to support various front-of-house roles when needed.
- Must have updated NBI clearance prior to employment.
