Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Mid-Level Data Modeler to support data architecture and design initiatives for a project-based engagement. The ideal candidate has strong experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, with hands-on expertise using ERwin Data Modeler. Experience in the insurance industry is a strong advantage. This role follows a hybrid work setup and is based in BGC, Taguig City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business and technical requirements.
  • Use ERwin Data Modeler to design, document, and manage data structures across various systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and developers to gather and validate data requirements.
  • Ensure data models align with enterprise data architecture standards and best practices.
  • Analyze and optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Perform data mapping, lineage analysis, and metadata documentation.
  • Support database development by providing detailed schema specifications and guidelines.
  • Work with ETL and data engineering teams to validate data flows and integrations.
  • Participate in data governance initiatives, including data quality checks, definitions, and standards.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and recommend structural or process improvements.
  • Prepare documentation, diagrams, and reports to communicate model changes and impacts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Modeler, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ERwin Data Modeler (required).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, normalization, relational databases, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical modeling for enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic querying for model validation.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and metadata management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies is an advantage.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid setup, with scheduled onsite work in BGC, Taguig City depending on project requirements.
  • Project-based engagement, with potential extension based on performance and project needs.

Job Type: Fixed term

Pay: Php70, Php110,000.00 per month
