Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Registered)
  • 2+ years of experience in structural assessment / structural design or retrofitting preferred. Exceptional fresh board-passers may be considered if highly skilled
  • Proficiency in MIDAS Gen is required; familiarity with other software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or other software is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of NSCP, ACI, AISC, and seismic design principles
  • Willing to conduct site visits and coordination meetings when necessary
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis of new concrete and steel structures using industry-standard structural software (Midas Gen, Midas Design+, Midas Ngen, etc.)
  • Conduct structural and seismic vulnerability assessment of existing buildings, industrial, and institutional facilities
  • Develop retrofitting and seismic strengthening design solutions based on assessment findings
  • Interpret and apply relevant building codes and standards such as NSCP, ACI, and AISC — with emphasis on seismic provisions to ensure safety and legal compliance
  • Prepare comprehensive design reports, structural calculations, and technical documentation
  • Conduct on-site data gathering and inspections to validate design assumptions and assess actual site conditions
  • Collaborate with the Planning & Design Department and Project Management Department to align technical requirements with project execution
  • Recommend cost-efficient and code-compliant seismic enhancement strategies using advanced design methodologies and materials.
