Our client is a leading Australian company specializing in fire safety solutions. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including fire protection design, installation, maintenance, and compliance. Their experienced team combines technical expertise with customer-focused service, making them a trusted partner in fire safety management.

We are seeking a skilled draftsman to join our team. While experience in drafting fire services is preferred, we are also open to candidates with drafting experience in other building services, such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.

Job Description

  • Design and create plans using AutoCAD.
  • Liaising with the manager and coordinating all activities, from planning to closeout.
  • Quality audits and checks to ensure work meets standards.
  • Reporting to ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
  • Ability to read, understand, liaise, and coordinate with architect, structural, and other services (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc…).
  • Knowledge of Australian AS2118.1, AS2118.6, AS2419.1, AS1670.1, AS1670.4 is preferred.
  • Knowledge of international fire services standards (NFPA / BS standards) also acceptable.
  • Ability to perform 3D BIM modeling on Revit software preferred but not essential.

Home Office Requirements:

  • Internet Connection : Must be 30 mbps at the least, preferably wired connection with PLDT, Cable connection is fine if it's more than 5mbps. We DO NOT accept plug-in, wi-fi or wimax.
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a good working computer.
  • Headsets : The Contractor must have a noise cancelling headsets preferably Plantronics Blackwire C320M headsets. Assessment will be done during test calls.
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Video Camera - Must have a working video camera
