The Midwife provides comprehensive maternal and newborn care, family planning and reproductive health services. She/he shall also ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care during prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods in accordance with Department of Health (DOH) standards and Philhealth accreditation requirements.

  • Must be a graduate of a recognized Midwifery Program.
  • Must have an updated PRC Midwifery License.
  • Must have at least one year related job experience.
  • Preferably with experience in maternal and newborn care or lying-in clinic .
  • Preferably trained in Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC), Essential Intrapartum and Newborn Care (EINC), and/or Family Planning Competency-Based Training (FPCBT).
