Job Summary

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across all entities within the group. The role involves planning and executing audit engagements, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to processes and systems.

This position is ideal for a CPA with at least 4 years of audit experience looking to make a real impact in a close-knit organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform internal audits across all departments and business units
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements to systems, controls, and procedures
  • Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits
  • Prepare and present clear audit reports with findings, root causes, and action-oriented recommendations
  • Follow up on audit recommendations and assess if corrective actions have been implemented
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
  • Assist in developing and updating internal audit programs and policies
  • Support management in fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
  • Minimum of 4 years audit experience, preferably a mix of external and internal audit
  • Experience auditing large scale transaction
  • Experience in logistics company is a plus
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and risk management
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting/audit tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report writing skills
  • Can work independently and manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously
