Industrial Housekeeping

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in production areas, silos, conveyors, packing sections, and control rooms.
• Clean cement dust and debris using appropriate industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., air hose, vacuum, broom, shovel).
• Safely dispose of cement waste and debris according to company environmental standards.
• Perform routine cleaning during plant operations and major cleanup during maintenance shutdowns.
• Maintain restrooms, offices, and common areas in proper sanitary condition.
• Assist in maintaining safe walkways, preventing dust buildup, and reducing slip or trip hazards.
• Use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks, goggles, gloves, and safety shoes.
• Report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning cleaning tools and assist in corrective actions.
• Follow housekeeping and 5S standards to promote an organized and hazard-free workplace.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; vocational training in housekeeping or janitorial services is an advantage.
• At least 1–2 years of experience as an industrial or plant housekeeper (preferably in a cement plant or heavy manufacturing environment).
• Knowledgeable in cement dust control, industrial cleaning techniques, and waste management procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in dusty or high-temperature environments.
• Able to follow strict safety and environmental regulations.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and plant shutdowns when necessary.
• With COE proof of prior experience in housekeeping duties within a cement or industrial plant setting.
