Job Title: Collections BCO (Billing and Collection Officer)

Position Overview:

The Collections BCO will be responsible for managing the billing and collection processes of condominium unit owners and tenants. This role ensures accurate invoicing, timely collection of dues, and proper recording of payments while maintaining strong customer relations. The Collections BCO works closely with the Accounting and Property Management teams to support smooth financial operations and provide reliable reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, issue, and distribute billing statements, invoices, and account summaries to unit owners and tenants in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts through reminders, phone calls, emails, and official notices.
  • Record and update payments in the system to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Coordinate with unit owners and tenants regarding billing inquiries, payment concerns, and account clarifications, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial, collection, and reconciliation reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting and Property Management teams to ensure accurate billing and collection procedures.
  • Safekeep official receipts, collection reports, and other financial documents in compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in condominium meetings, orientations, or briefings when required to explain billing and collection guidelines to residents.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements in billing and collection procedures to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing, collection, or accounting, preferably in property management, real estate, or related industries.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with unit owners, tenants, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with accounting or property management software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging customer interactions professionally.
