Be part of a dynamic environment where your skills and ideas are valued.Job SummaryAs an Operations Specialist III in Home Lending Consumer Originations Underwriting Support, you review and validate mortgage documents to help customers move forward in their home loan journey. You work with us to ensure compliance with credit policies and investor guidelines, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality lending solutions. You collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues and maintain accurate records. Your attention to detail and customer focus help us achieve productivity targets and maintain high levels of satisfaction.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive reviews of loan files for completeness and accuracyPerform specialized underwriting support, including credit analysis and document preparationReview and analyze purchase contracts for compliance and completenessIdentify and flag critical contract elements that impact loan termsExecute data verification processes to resolve alerts and validate borrower informationMaintain accurate participant data entry and system reportingCoordinate with Home Loan Advisors on incomplete applications and missing documentationIdentify potential risks associated with mortgage applications and implement measures to mitigate those risksCommunicate decisions and findings effectively to internal stakeholdersCollaborate with Customer Care Specialists, Home Lending Advisors, Quality Assurance teams, Risk Partners, and ClosersUphold customer service excellence in every interactionRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related fieldAt least 1 year of experience in U.S. residential mortgage processing or underwritingProficiency in specialized systems, tools, and spreadsheet calculatorsStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated decision-making skills in evaluating creditworthinessExceptional written and verbal communication skills; CSA / Voice CertifiedCommitment to customer service excellenceAbility to work night shifts (U.S. hours)Willingness to work hybrid and 5 days in office, depending on business needsAbility to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory environmentsExperience maintaining accurate data entry and system reportingPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience with different types of mortgage productsStrong understanding of federal and state mortgage regulationsExperience in home lending operations or evaluating creditworthinessAbility to analyze customer documentation, determine income and repayment ability, and assess hardship or potential fraudExperience collaborating with cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issuesExperience in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentInternal Application Eligibility RequirementsTENURE:Must meet minimum employment tenure requirement.
