The Opportunity

ARTECH TECHNOLOGY INC' is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Data Engineer on a contract basis, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge data infrastructure, leveraging Informatica ETL and AWS technologies to drive business-critical insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Informatica to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
  • Architect and implement scalable data storage solutions on the AWS cloud platform, including Amazon S3, Redshift, and other relevant services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient data processing workflows
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the integrity and reliability of our data assets
  • Continuously optimize and maintain our data infrastructure for improved performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing your expertise in data engineering best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Informatica ETL Developer
  • Proficient in Informatica ETL development, including designing and building complex data integration workflows
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data storage solutions on the AWS cloud platform, including Amazon S3, Redshift, and other relevant services
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL best practices
  • Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Apache Airflow
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
