SD-WAN Trainer

Position Overview: As an SD-WAN Trainer, you'll deliver technical training on SD-WAN and SASE technologies while providing advanced network support to clients. This hybrid role is ideal for professionals with strong networking experience especially with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet and an interest in cloud networking and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

• Any relevant network technical certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.).
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting
• Knowledge and experience with network security solutions (e.g., Netskope) is highly desirable

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in networking roles.
• Multi-Vendor Knowledge of Edge, Core, and Access Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless Networks.
• Excellent knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and associated hardware platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), stateful packet inspection and ACLs Universal Threat Management (UTM) Features, Capabilities, and Firewall Objects, Rules, and Policies.
• Extensive experience with Layer 3 Routing and Protocols, and BWAN/SDWAN knowledge.
• Experience with Layer 2 protocols and associated enhancements (LACP, 802.1x, etc.) required.
• Knowledge of the following areas is required: VPN (IPSec, and SSL VPNs,), Wireless (802.1b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi 6/6E/7), and DNS/DHCP.
• Proven expertise with network technologies.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and a passion for cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Training Delivery

• Deliver comprehensive technical training sessions to clients on network engineering concepts, focusing on routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), SD-WAN architecture, network redundancy, and high availability solutions
• Design and develop realistic, scalable customer training lab environments that simulate production scenarios, including multi-gateway topologies and overlay network configurations
• Review, maintain, and optimize training infrastructure and lab environments to ensure effective, up-to-date training delivery aligned with industry best practices
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations covering critical networking topics such as default routing, route prioritization, full mesh configurations, and cloud integration scenarios
• Adapt training content and delivery methods to various experience levels and technical backgrounds

Professional Services & System Integration

• Lead solution deployment, integration, and configuration projects aligned with delivery standards and technical best practices
• Implement and validate SD-WAN configurations across hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), ensuring secure integration and optimal performance
• Design and implement network security measures, including next-generation firewall (NGFW) configuration, stateful packet inspection, ACLs, and firewall policies
• Provide technical consultation on network architecture, security protocols, and system scalability to ensure solutions meet both business and security requirements
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, including BGP routing problems, overlay vs. internet path validation, and gateway redundancy challenges

Knowledge Enablement & Team Development

• Document technical procedures, best practices, and architectural solutions to create reusable resources
• Collaborate with team members to establish standardized training methodologies and technical documentation
• Suport the development of internal team capabilities in SD-WAN, network security, and system integration practices
