Basic Function: Able to assess, respond, and carry out therapy programs prescribed by the Physiatrist

Duties & Responsibilities

A. Functional Duties:

  1. Review patients medical history, ask the patients questions and observe them doing task

  2. Evaluate a patient's condition and needs

  3. Develop a treatment plan for patients, identifying specific goals and the types of activities that will be used to help the patient work toward those goals.

  4. Help people various disabilities perform different task, such as teaching a stroke victim how to get dressed.
