Job Summary: The Rewinding Engineer is responsible for incoming and outgoing inspection of motors, Rewinding Digitalization, and Root Cause Analysis of Repaired Motors

Key Responsibilities:

·       Incoming and Final Inspection Lead: Lead the Incoming and Outgoing Inspection of the Rewinding Process. Identify Motor Failure Root Cause and Ensure All Electrical and Mechanical Test Results Pass after Rewinding/ Reconditioning Process.

·       Rewinding Digitalization: Ensure all motor technical data is encoded on the Rewinding Digitalization Web App.

·       Winding Design Verification: Ensure all Winding designs for 3-phase AC Motors are Passed Before Proceeding with the Rewinding Process

·       Tools Audit and Calibration: Lead the Auditing of All Rewinding Tools and Equipment and Ensure all are Calibrated

·       Process Improvement: Collaboration with Rewinding Supervisor to improve Rewinding Processes, reduce waste, reduce cost, and enhance operational efficiency.

·       Safety and Compliance: Implement and effectively maintain safety and good housekeeping of the rewinding section

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, technology or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Motor Rewinding. Experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance and Troubleshooting is a Plus.
  • With High Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
  • Knowledge in Data Science is a requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies (such as IoT, predictive maintenance systems, data analytics) and their application in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office – esp. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Work Environment:

  • This position is based in a Battery manufacturing facility, requiring hands-on involvement in production areas and the Rewinding Shop
