Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation before and after cargo runs
  • Repair punctures, replace worn-out tires, and perform tire rotations
  • Mount and dismount tires and inner tubes using proper tools and techniques
  • Clean and prepare rims, bead seat bands, flanges, and o-ring grooves
  • Ensure all tires meet safety and manufacturer standards
  • Tighten wheel bolts and nuts to prevent accidents and ensure stability
  • Place wheel chocks and follow safety protocols during tire servicing
  • Match and align dual tires to reduce uneven wear and improve fuel efficiency
  • Monitor tire inventory and report low stock or damaged items
  • Operate tire handlers, forklifts, and air compressors as needed
  • Coordinate with mechanics and drivers to schedule tire servicing
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in tire maintenance, preferably in cargo or heavy-duty operations
  • Knowledge of tire repair tools and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy equipment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety
